Description

Want to become an “air-bee-n-bee” host? Learn how to make a bee hotel from scratch and soon you’ll be in business! Guests will be buzzing with excitement to make a reservation in no time.

Did you know that Canada has over 800 species of wild bees, most of which are solitary bees? Solitary bees pollinate our fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers, but they are experiencing population declines due to habitat loss. Bee hotels create safe habitats in your yard for solitary bees to lay eggs and hatch new bees. Don't get discouraged if your bee hotel seems empty - look for plugged holes in the fall to see evidence that your hotel has eggs that will hatch in the spring.

We will teach you and provide the supplies for you to make a cosy Bee Hotel for your new guests.
